Hi everyone, this is Allie Garvey (now Littlefield) I am back from school and my husband and I have built a barn and training facility in Lone Jack, MO I have a degree in farm and ranch management and worked for an equine vet while I was in college for 3 years. During college I was on the horse judging team where I was 3rd high individual at the Quarter Horse Congress, and as a team we were both Reserve Congress Champions and Reserve AQHA world champions. I won the performance division at the AQHA world and that was my first year judging horses. I have been showing horses in golden circle, kaysinger, ABRA, AQHA and APHA for 11 years and have a huge list of wins, high points and all-arounds on self trained horses. I specialize in showmanship, hunter under saddle, equitation/horsemanship and western pleasure however I have been training recreational trail horses of all breeds for the past year at Blue & Gray Park and have started over 200 colts. I can put finishing touches on ones that are already started or tune up an older horse who hasn't been worked recently.
I am discounting my training services for November through January due to the economy and off season to just $400 per month!!! This INCLUDES board!! We have newly constructed paddocks with shelter and horses are fed high quality brome hay morning and night with access to fresh water and mineral at all times. Though we do not have an indoor arena, I ride daily rain or shine and I will credit you any days that horses can't be worked due to bad weather (extreme rain, snow, sleet etc.) The show horses will be worked in circles in an open field, not a tight indoor arena going around and around in circles. Your horse will learn to relax in the open and they will quickly learn to love being outdoors. Your horse will see cars, deer and other wildlife which will prep them for the many sights they will see at the horse shows. The colts and trail horses that I work with will be ridden through creeks, mud, crop fields and open pastures. These are things many trainers will not do with your horse while being ridden in an indoor arena. Many of you are considering selling an unwanted horse as well with the holidays or not wanting to feed one all winter, I can get them back in shape, take pictures and advertise your horse while they are here. I have sold 15 horses for other people in the past 6 weeks alone. There are only minimal costs to you for me to take pictures and advertise your horse online. I can take video as well. We live on site and your horse will be well cared for and treated with respect when being trained. You are welcome to come visit your horse at anytime during their training and lessons are available for you to make that transition to riding your horse. Feel free to call me to come and look at our facility and our horses. I also have many vet, farrier and past customer references. I know that many of you have been "taken" by trainers who don't ride your horse during the time that they are in training. I do not have any assistants, I will be riding your horse a minimum of 5 days a week and you WILL see results. If you don't need my services at this time, please save my email and cell phone number for your future needs and please pass the word. Thanks for your consideration, Allie Garvey-Littlefield 816-804-6463 hunterhorses@hotmail.com
